About the School

Welcome to Black Fox Elementary. Our school is named for Cherokee Chief Black Fox and was established in 1898. In 1993, Black Fox Elementary and McDonald Elementary Schools merged into a unified school serving students in Southeast Bradley County. In 1996 we received accreditation through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and we have continued to plan for improvement and adhere to high standards on behalf of our students and community. While our test data and awards tell you students are achieving, a visit to our school will tell you we are committed to providing a loving climate for our children.

Black Fox Elementary has 500 students, kindergarten through fifth graders and 38 preschoolers, who are the focus of everything we do. We are proud of our children, teachers, and parents and the great accomplishments we have made together. Please enjoy looking through our website at the many opportunities and achievements found at Black Fox Elementary. You will find that we live our vision every day, as we are "Working Together for Excellence."
