About Me...

My name is Carrie Trew. I have been teaching since 1998. I started teaching first grade back in 1998 at Black Fox Elementary School where it all began under the great leadership of Mr. Herbert Lackey. Black Fox is very dear to my heart and it is where I have taught the longest! I have taught first, second, and third grades. My previous schools include Prospect Elementary School, Candies Creek Academy, and I also homeschooled for a couple of years. I have been married for 25 years and have a daughter and son. Teaching is truly a passion for me! My prayer is that I always do my best and shine a light into the hearts of our precious children. I cannot wait to start the 2023-2024 school year with my first grade students & families!
