About the Teacher
I am a product of Bradley County schools and a native of the Black Fox Community. My family roots stem from my grandmother who was also a teacher at Black Fox when the new school was developed. All family members have attended Black Fox which is why I care so deeply for my students and the school. Love and passion for my career are evident in the work I do in my classroom. I am married to Matt Wallace. I have two boys and two girls. My oldest is 20 years old and my newest addition is two years old. I hope to provide love and education to my students as if they were my own.
I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I have a bachelor's degree in Human Ecology with a concentration in Pre-K-4. I started my career as a Librarian at Valley View in 2005. The following year, I began teaching Third grade then six years later moved to the Fourth grade where I taught mainly Mathematics. I returned to the Third Grade in 2017. I’m now back teaching fourth grade! I have 18 years of experience in my teaching career.
