About Me
Hello! My name is Brandon Akiona, and I am a lifelong Cleveland resident. I am a lover of poetry, the great outdoors, and all things musical theatre. I am a product of Bradley County Schools, having graduated from Walker Valley High School in 2018. After graduating, I spent four years studying Elementary Education with a minor in psychology at Lee University. During my senior year student teaching experience at Lee, I was placed at Black Fox as a student teacher in Mrs. Tammy Looney's 3rd grade class. It was there that I fell in love with Black Fox students and began praying about coming back to the Fox. The Lord answered my prayer, and I began my career at Black Fox in the Fall of 2022 as a fourth-grade teacher. I believe with all my heart that Black Fox students are the best students, and it is such an honor to teach them and do life with them.
